Tiffany began her career as an educator with the Ministry of Education in Singapore, specialising in the subjects of Music and English. After spearheading a successful instrumental programme with a team of teachers, she focused on working with at-risk secondary school students in her capacity as the Subject Head of Discipline.
In search of adventure, Tiffany packed her bags for Melbourne and embarked on graduate coursework at the University of Melbourne. Through her involvement as a research assistant and an online learning environment technology assistant, Tiffany was introduced to the world of research, specifically in the realm of teaching and learning of music online in higher education.
Tiffany is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, with a research focus in online learning and pedagogy, teacher singing skills and confidence, and early childhood music teacher education. In her free time, she can be found in the kitchen baking copious amounts of snacking cakes and shokupan.
